Day two: colour me happy

Day two of lent is nearly over and not too much of a struggle as of yet. 

My next granny square isn't yet pushing my boundaries but it is pretty. I use the same basic square from yesterday using three double crochet and working in a loop. 

The two colours are used from the left over of a blanket I made for a friend fairly recently so it is on the top of my rag pile.

Here is that blanket. I think the colours really compliment each other and it was only made using basic 100g balls of wool from the local cheap shop. It's a corner to corner pattern.
